the quiet where we find each other

by Zoë Schulz

‘the quiet where we find each other’ documents and archives the social and historical context the queer community is currently living through, focusing on tenderness, resilience, and community care. This body of work is made up of portraits of queer individuals and couples, taken in places that hold meaning to the participants; spaces they recharge or where they feel most like themselves. Alongside this will be accompanying interviews around themes of how, even on the hardest days, we find our love, care and resistance.

Below is a mood board of my own work that exemplifies what this body of work will look like. You can also see my 2025 solo show Shatterproof Glass, as an example of my previous work.

Exhibition: Coming soon to London and Brighton
